Good temporary solution
I would not buy these with the thought of using them more than 3 years. I've had multiple tiles delaminate from the edges. a great solution for a quick floor spruce up. Make sure your substrate is clean as a whistle, I still recommend purchasing some adhesive to help hold them down. Again, not bad for the price for temporary, would never recommend as a long term solution. Ours are stuck down and grouted.

“Lifetime” Warranty Not Honored for Defective Tiles
    • New tiles fresh from carton had adhesive on the face • Some had slight variations in terms of squareness, cut and fit • Delamination began to occur within 3 months • Adhesive failed within 2 years • Manufacturer now claims product is warranted for wear thru, but only for 30 years and for manufacturing defects, but only for 1 year, despite the “Lifetime” warranty advertised. • Neither Home Depot nor manufacturer seems willing to honor lifetime warranty Details: Purchased one hundred seventy-two (172) TrafficMASTER 12 x 24 Self Stick Vinyl Floor Tiles, Light Gray Travertine, Model: 221924U, from Home Depot over three purchase dates: 1/17/19; 2/3/19; and 3/29/19. Manufacturer of said tile was later represented to us as being Cryntel Enterprises Ltd., Inc., 10412 W State Road 84 STE 101, Davie, FL 33324. Primary in our selection of this tile over others was the “Lifetime Residential Warranty” prominently advertised on the tile cartons. There was no additional written warranty information in any carton, and the reverse side of the carton simply states “Warranty details are available in the product page at homedepot.com. Product page on homedepot.com, simply states “Manufacturer Warranty. Lifetime Limited Residential – 6 Year Light Commercial”. There are no other details, no link to any warranty document, and no listing of any said limitations. This was new flooring for a complete kitchen remodel, installed in April 2019 over new subfloor, tile edge to tile edge without using optional grout. I am an experienced DIYer to the level of full room addition construction and finish. Manufacturer is asserting: • That the lifetime warranty is for wear-thru only • That being notified ‘…18 months after our last communication is a challenge’ for them • That the product is now “…out of warranty” after less than 2 years • That the “Lifetime Residential Warranty” is actually a “1 year manufacturer defect warranty from the original date of purchase and a separate, 30 year LTD wear-thru warranty.” • That any other resolution needs to come through Home Depot Personally, as a result of this experience: • I will not buy any products in the future manufactured by Cryntel Enterprises Ltd, • Will not buy any products from Home Depot that claim to be warranted without insisting on a full, written warranty in my hands prior to purchase, and the sales person at Home Depot to sign and date any such warranty to ensure that terms are documented as being in effect at the time of purchase. • Actually, I probably will simply quit buying from Home Depot.

Very pleased with our flooring. It is very thick and of good quality. We put it in a very small trailer and had many small cuts to make around cabinets and doors and therefore, it was hard to work with at times but looks so nice.

      Beautiful results
This went down on top of an old linoleum floor. iIt would have 5 stars, but one of the nine boxes had a much more yellow tone to it. Home Depot will say that you should use product out of several boxes at once to account for that. I say that Home Depot should have better QC.

I am amazed by these tiles!
I wasn't even done installing these tiles and I knocked a whole jar of spaghetti sauce out of my my pantry and on to my new floor. Shards of glass and spaghetti sauce flew everywhere., I was devastated. The floor wasn't even done yet and I was pretty sure I would have to pull some of them back up already. I cleaned the mess up and was amazed. The tiles look great. No stains and no damage from the impact of the glass jar. I am not even done laying the tiles so I can't speak to how long they hold up, but I can say that I am impressed so far!

          Looks great!
I used this in an upstairs bathroom first as a test run. After a few months and seeing no issues, I installed in back entry, half bath, laundry room, and kitchen areas. While it wasnt the easiest to cut around things like a toilet, its doable. I went for the grouted look because I feel it looks better that way. The tile has great texture and color variations. I am so happy we went with this. I will state that prep work is imperative. If you want it to look good, do it right and take the time!

I purchased these tiles 4 years ago and was happy to see they were still available. What a bust. They are nothing like the original tiles I bought. The don't look the same, they don't have the beveled edges, the finish and thickness of the tiles are low grade and they are a completely different color. Such a disappointment. For years I plugged these tiles to all I spoke to. There is no possible way these tiles are going to meet their lifetime warranty.

Not as easy as it seems
We wanted a quick replacement for our laundry room floor. My husband is a contractor with many years experience and we previously used a plank type peel and stick in our basement with no issue. We did not choose to grout this floor and we installed over the wood subfloor. The first installation resulted was horrible - the tiles were popping up on literally every tile. We had prepped by vacuuming thoroughly and applying self-leveling product and patching. We had reviewed some installation vids and many people reported that priming the surface was not necessary, so we did not. We thought this must be our issue and we ended up removing all the the tile and priming the surface and repeating all the directions for clean, dry floor. Today we are still seeing tiles popping up. We also had a batch of tiles that were marked with something black and needed to be cleaned as well as some tiles that were glued to the box. Overall a lot of effort and expense for a not great quality tile. The tile itself looks great and we are looking into some way to resolve the adhesion issue. I'd advise reviewing videos or blogs to make sure you are prepared.

The colors, pattern, and thickness of the material was attractive and substantial, and the price was reasonable. The major issue I experienced with this material was that the adhesive backing was not strong enough, and allowed the material to lift and/or float away from the underlayment, which was clean and flat. For that reason I am returning the unused and uncut tiles to the store later today for a refund.
