Does the flooring come with adhesive ready to stick or how do we stick it to the floor?
Why not put it everywhere else & match tile to it for the stairs?
It does tear easily! I put it down in my baby's nursery and we slid a dresser down a few inches and it ripped a hole in it. I do not advise to put in heavy traffic areas or areas with heavy furniture.
Someone else responded to this comment inaccurately and it burned me pretty bad so hope I can save someone. Quantity entered is NOT the length you want. Someone above mentioned if you need 12'x14' you order 14. Not true. If you do the math, 9sqft is .75' * 12'. So quantities are in .75 foot length. I know this now because I needed 12'x11' and ordered an extra foot for safety, so I ordered a quantity of 12 just to be sure. Thanks to a comment left on this answer before, I assumed quantity is by the foot. Well lo and behold, after 3 weeks of shipping and planning my build around this 3 week wait time, the vinyl comes and it's 9' long... Really infuriating but I guess I shouldve trusted my math and not some random comment on here. Long story short, the quantity should be length you need / 0.75. So if you need 12x20, you order 20 / 0.75, which comes out to 26.6667 and then you round up to 27.
No, it doesn't stick to the floor unless you tape or glue it. If it's a large area the weight of the flooring will hold it down pretty well.
Yes! Just got this one of scorched walnut in Natural
It is felt backed.
Slightly, but very minimal. Resist dirt well. Be careful moving furniture on it, it will tear!
12X13=156 SQ FT, IF YOU PUT THIS IN -IT WILL CALCULATE FOR YOU.
Not recommended at all. Remove the existing flooring, clean the subfloor and you're ready to go. If you use tape, don't use it all the way around the perimeter. This will constrict the expansion and contraction property of this product and will pillow up on the edges.
