You recommend a cordless drill. Why not a corded 115 VAC electric 1/2" drill?

I used 1/2 inch variable speed drill.corded drill. Heavy duty reduction gearing of trailer valet makes for slow yet powerful movement

Can the 2 inch ball be changed to a different size?

Hello! Yes, you can swap our balls out with different sizes. You can use a 2 5/16" or the 1 7/8". But it would have to be a Trailer Valet ball because our threading is special for our units only. Please reach out to support@trailervalet.com for any other questions! Thank you!

it should be able to do this on a flat paced surface. You will be fighting the second axle a little if you are using a dual axle trailer.

I don't know. The 3 axles may create a lot of turning resistance. You may want to contact Trailer Valet and ask a sales rep.

How much weight will the trailer valet handle , also is it power driven?

This model will handle up to 10,000 lbs. It is crank driven but comes with an attachment which will enable you to use a drill motor.

incredible
I have a 30 foot travel trailer and i have a very tight place to park it. When i would park the trailer with my truck i had to worry about hitting the house and driving on my neighbors lawn. Granted i can still hit the house with this device but i have sooo much more control of where its going. I figured one hit to the awning or something else and this thing would pay for itself. I can see some of the other comments where it wont push the trailer over something or up an incline. This thing is moving a 6000 lb trailer around and its a simple matter of physics at that point. Didnt like the price but love the product

Works great on my 30’ trailer to get in to a tight spot that is at an awkward angle. Money well spent and very pleased with how easy it is to use.

Works like a charm getting the trailer in and out of a garage. About 2 inches of clearance each side, with the dolly, very easy to position and move.

Had to maneuver a 1,500 lb. trailer up steep driveway. This did the trick. Only limited by power of drill. Fortunately I had a big Makita drill on hand that did the job. Heavy solid piece of equipment.

Best tool purchase
I bought the Trailer Valet XL to place my 30’ travel trailer along side my house that I couldn’t do with my crew cab long bed pickup because of space constraints. The parking pad is compacted gravel and the unit did ok on the gravel, though at times wanted to “dig”. I remedied the situation by installing a “runway” of concrete pads for the Trailer Valet to go on. The unit now glides on the runway. Couldn’t be more pleased with it!
