You know wherever there's decking, there's railing. But traditionally, that's mean either a stick -built wooden version, a traditional composite railing combo or a white PVC model. In other words, not much variety. Instead, Trex has a better way to build railing: With modular components. A simple step-by-step process helps you choose the basic elements of railing in not-so-basic materials finishes and colors. Trex Transcend railing is a high-performance composite with a fade resistant shell. It comes in 7-colors, 3 top and bottom rail styles, 3-baluster options (Plus 3-glass panels), a hidden bracket system.

Can this product be cut to fit the length of my stairs? Can I cut it in half and use both pieces?

AnswersHello Conner, and thank you for your interest in Trex Railing. This is our Transcend 91.5" Stair Accessory Infill kit in Vintage Lantern for square composite balusters. Transcend railing can always be cut down to size using a miter saw and carbide tipped blade with 60 teeth or more. If you need to cut this down to use in 2 sections this can also be done; just be sure to order the Mounting Hardware for cut rails kit separately for assembly of your second rail section. AnswersYES! The square "holes" on the balluster spacer are actually RECTANGULAR on the "stair" kit, since, your rails will be installed at an angle thus will not fit in SQUARE holes (as used on the flat deck). Hope this makes sense.
Why don't you have a picture of this rail assembled. I would like to see what it looks like.
