AnswerI bought one about one year ago and it works great. I used a short one before and I could not get all my bushes trimmed. Now it is not a problem. It is on my weed whacker but it was not a Stihl . I cannot see the brand of my whacker now as it is in my summer home. I would contact Stihl directly.

Bough the weed wacker without realizing I could purchase different attachments. I have several attachments now and love the ease of the hedge trimmer. I can easily adjust the angle and trim away. Great tool.

this is the fourth unit in 13 months. The first three had major issues and two were replaced under warranty. The third resulted in a refund. Used the fourth for the fist time Dec 4 and have my fingers crossed. Would that there was another option for this attachment.
