A: Thanks for your question No the Cobra TripleGrip cannot be use for a ceilling application. Thanks
A: They should, provided it is low weight...I've used them on ceilings.
A: If it an old Plaster, you should use an other type of anchor. Also It’s important to consider the weight you will put on this anchors. Plaster It’s always a challenging material.
A: Hello Ed, thank you for reaching to us with your question. The Triple Grip is working with solid brick and each anchor will support 100 pounds, so if you put 2 it will be up to 200 pounds. The drill bit included is a 5/16'' and fit with #10 anchor. If you consult our Web Site you will find the Spec Sheet. www.cobraanchors.com. BEST REGARDS
A: that style will not work on solid brick, there are other inserts that will .
A: First, try to insure that you find the wall studs to directly screw into with #10 x 1 1/2 inch screws. Failing finding wall studs, I have used either the Hillman 3/16 inch "DuoPower" wall anchor or the 1/4 inch "FlipToggle". Insure also that you drill through to grab the substrate backer. You will have to use a hammer drill and a quality masonry bit to drill through the tile surface.
A: Hello Nana, Thank you for reaching out to us. The answer given to you is the right one. If you decided to use a Triple Grip, a #12 will be even better. Thank you
