Asked by nonna March 24, 2019Please make sure the reverse switch is fully engaged to one side or the other. If it is not engaged this can emit a humming noise as it is not making a good electrical contact. Finally, make sure the switch on the wall controlling the power to the fan is not a dimmer switch, it needs to be a single pole switch. If the humming is still present then we sill need to get the fan without the blades or down-rod back to us for review and warranty. You will need to ship it to us at the following address and we repair or replace if needed.
