The specs on the website say 186 pounds. I needed a hand to get it on the truck but slid it off alone with a board. I maneuver it powered or unpowered without an issue.

I'm thinking you should call your local store or go to the Home Depot website.

The self propel feature of the snow blower is not working. Can you advise if someone from the company can come by and have a look.

Yes, no one from the company will be stopping by. You didn’t mention how old the unit was and what the actual problem is. When you pull in the lever is it stuck? If it’s stuck, most likely you have something jammed near the impeller below the chute. If the augers spin freely you may have sheared some Cotter pins because you hit something and snapped them. The second issue would be that the cables from the lever down to the control attachment has become loose and that is very common in machines that are older than five years old.

The engine speed lever must be all the way to the left, (high speed), Choke closed, that is the rotary switch on the top above the speed lever, then press the red rubber bulb 3 times, more if it's really cold out to prime the carburetor, then pull the rip cord, or push the button to start if you have it plugged in for the electric start. If you smell fuel you may have flooded the engine, and may have to remove the spark plug and dry it off, turn the engine over to flush out any extra gasoline, then reinstall the plug and try again. If it doesn't start you may have some bad gasoline, fuel today doesn't last very well because of the ethanol, you may need to drain the tank and put in fresh gas.

Had approximately an 8” snow storm to try out my new snow blower for the first time, it did a great job on my driveway and sidewalks, so much so that I couldn’t stop, so I went and dug out two of my neighbors. Looking forward to many years of good use ahead.

Used it several times already. It is a great Strong machine. It's a great purchase .Go ahead and pull the trigger if your thinking about it. Fires right up electric start is great but you can pull half a pull and it fires right up. Great Purchase!

Mother Nature has met her match...!!!...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In December of 2020 we were struck with a snow storm that left 40” of snow overnight...I worked on clearing my driveway for 6 hours and only had a narrow path with my small snowblower ...that night I bought a snowblower that could handle whatever Mother Nature decided she wanted to throw at me in the future...the next storm was no match for “Big Red” ...the heavy packing snow was hitting the power lines ...I’ll NEVER have to worry again about a snow storm again...thanks to my new Troy-Bilt snow thrower...!!!...

When a 1-stage won't cut it and you have a bad back like myself, you rely on your 2-stage to bail you out from having to shovel that heavy snow the plow truck leaves for you at the end of your driveway. I bought this snow blower because my old 10+ year old MTD 5-22 two stage didn't want to start anymore. This Storm 2410 is way nicer than my old MTD, it is bigger, more powerful, and better traction in slippery snow. It is a time saver to have a good powerful snow blower in Wisconsin; I have to clear two car wide driveway with a side drive, sidewalk, and back patio. I have had this Troy Bilt Storm 2410 for a week and finally got to use it. Got it on sale, and couldn't be happier with it so far. Came with the oil, all I had to do is assemble, add fuel and 1st pull it started right up. We just got a nice snow storm and this 2-Stage went to chow town on some Heavy Wet Snow with no issues. The plow truck was nice enough to plow us in, this wasn't a problem for the Storm 2410. It also performed well Off-Road on my grass where I was able to cut through the snow to clear a path to my back patio. On sale, you can't beat this snow blower for the price. All Pros and no Con's, very happy with this product!

Great snow blower for the price. Some assembly if you order it online. It had never had gas in it until I poured some in. I primed it 4 times, pulled the starter twice, and it started, 10 degrees outside. Incredible how much better modern little engines start than older designs. I think I'll run the gas out completely every spring, rather than fuel stabilizer, since it is so easy to start from completely empty. I don't think I'll ever even bother with the electric starter. Cleared a lot of snow in 30 minutes. Two stage, plenty of power. The only benefit that spending more money on will get you is a more powerful engine (faster), easier steering (differential gear), and a little faster adjusting of the exit blower. No thanks, I'll keep that extra thousand bucks. Mine did come with one of the skids a little bit out of adjustment, which is fine, since they are set to 1/8 inch, and I wanted 1/2 inch, so I was going to adjust them anyway.

This product performs, its fail safe mechanisms work (rock jammed stage 2 but caused no damage after removed). One thing that improved overall performance 3 fold was spraying stage 1, stage 2, and chute with a silicon spray. That kept heavy, wet snow from sticking and slowing performance. Silicon spray is a must do and Troy Built should recommend it in their literature

For the price this is a good snow blower. A few small annoyances with controls: 1. OIL LEVEL - The operator's manual for the 2410 states that the engine requires 600ml of oil - and also say "may be shipped with oil". As other reviewers have noted the dipstick may not indicate the presence of oil - DON'T BE FOOLED THERE IS PROBABLY OIL IN THERE. Add oil slowly checking the level every 75-100ml - you probably only need to add about 100-200ml to get the oil to read between "H" and "L" on the dipstick. 2. For the Drive controls, after running in "forward" and then changing to "reverse" it might take a little wiggle of the control to get it to switch to reverse. 3. The bracket holding the chute control rod wasn't very tight - which allowed the spiral wire on the rod to rotate freely without engaging the chute. Pushing the bracket holding the control rod towards the chute base will fix this - but avoid this by checking that the bracket bolts are tight before use. (The bracket is shown as a grayed-out component at the bottom right of Fig 3-4 of the "Two-Stage Snow Thrower" operators manual)' This is a big machine - the box was 4 ' long, 3' high, and 2' 4" wide - I would not turn the box on its side due to the presence of oil in the machine. A truck / van / SUV with rear seats down/removed will be required to transport. Or you can rent the Home depot truck for $20 if you can make it home and back to the store in under 75 minutes.
