Best gift I have given my Dad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Dad has gone crazy over this! Made by Troy-Bilt, this TB25C Weed Eater is a 2 cycle trimmer. Comes complete with minimal assembly. It is approximately 4 1/2' tall and has an adjustable handle for the most comfort. The motor is at the top and adds some weight to it. It runs on oil and gas mixture and a small package is included. Just add the fuel and prime it. Starts by pulling starter rope. It was easy for Dad to start. Follow the included instructions carefully regarding the clutch and maintenance. Included were approximately 10 string strips. Normal breakage occurred due to the rock border around his property but he had zero problems changing the string. To use, just go back and forth to cut grass, weeds and more. Our house has never looked so good around the outside. He has used it around the house, fence lines, garden and more. Perfect for rural areas where we live. Highly recommended.

Perfect for curb appeal!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With one of the biggest city lots, we have struggled to maintain the size of our yard with the curb appeal that we strive for. The Troybilt 25C arrived just in time for our spring yard clean-up weekend. With almost a full acre, our yard has curbs, sidewalks, paving stones, landscaping beds, trees, wooden and chain link fence lines, shrubs and a cobbled patio. The TB25C performed the best of any string trimmer we've ever owned, with a uniform trim and minimal effort. The speed is easily controlled and simple to maintain an even trim. We ran the TB25C for almost 2 hours with minimal fatigue- it is a comfortable trimmer to run and with a quick fueling, was back to tackle the winter mess of our yard. This is definitely a professional-grade trimmer that is user friendly and a tidy workhorse.

This Troy-Bilt trimmer is the second one I have purchased. I liked how the first one worked, so bought a second one as I trim 3 acres. My other Troy-Bilt trimmer uses attachments, tiller, hedge trimmer, and blade. This will be for my wife, as she does trimming also, and the light weight, ease of string replacement, and ease of starting. I would recommend this trimmer, as well as any other Troy-Bilt product to use in yard work.
