Neighbors you should have plowed my snow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was truly surprised that this snowblower had so much power. I wish I could upload photos of how I was snowed in and my Squall blasted me out!! I love it and I cleared 7inches from front to back.

Great features, easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes winter more bearable. This snow blower makes cleaning the sidewalks and driveway a breeze, in record time, with minimal effort. It comes with everything you need to get started, and is ready to use in minutes. It features an electric start with 2 keys. Starts right up the first time, every time. We get snow here in Ohio but it usually doesn't drop a lot at once, a few inches, but our biggest issue is the wind and drifts. This snow blower can plow through drifts at 10" with ease along our house/driveway. We haven't had more than that yet but I think this snow blower will easily handle what we get with no issues. It's heavy but it moves along easily and is easy to turn. A quality piece of equipment with a good strong motor, highly recommend.

Great snow thrower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free to try and then write a review. When it showed up box was beat up and parts missing I called and parts were sent out right away we just had our first snowfall and I love this.. easy to use. My down side to this snow does stick to the chute and the chute was difficult to put on.. we had to call for assistance on how to put it on. Over all I love this and do recommend this product to either men or women to use..so much better than a shovel

Starts up nice and easy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although it's snowed a couple times here in the past week, there hasn't been enough snow to try out my TroyBuilt Squall 280xp Snow Blower. I'm anxious to try it. It came already assembled, just had to attach the chute. I started it up and it started really easy and sounds good when it's running. It doesn't take up a lot of room and is the perfect size.

Love It!!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't wait for it to snow again that i could use this snow thrower. It works perfect and it's light-weight and not big and bulky like my old snow blower. The snow blower just glides thru the snow like it's nothing. It was very easy to use and very easy to assemble. I love this snow blower and i would definitely recommend it.

Okay product but would choose different model
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Squall 208 XP snow thrower to review. I was really excited about it. Well, my husband and son were. On first inspection, it does not seem to be a heavy duty piece of equipment. I would expect more for the retail price. There is a good bit of plastic on it, and several times some of the pieces did come loose during use. It was easy to assemble but again didn't seem to be built to last which was a disappointment. We were able to use it today on a bit of snow that we got, and it did clear the snow well. The pull string mechanism is easy to work but also not very durable. If I were purchasing a snow blower/thrower, I would not recommend this one. I would look for one that was more durable, more metal, and also self-propelled if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow. This piece would be ok for light snow use. I hope this review is helpful.

Perfect for homeowners and easy to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband plows and snowblows a lot in the winter. He compared the Squall 208 XP to an old Ariens snowblower we already own and to one of his friends, which is a Toro snowblower. The plusses - the size is great, not too big, not too small; it has headlights; it's powerful in heavy, wet snow. The minuses - it isn't self-propelled; the auger engagement handle needs longer connections to keep it in the handle - it comes out when using the snowblower. My husband said it if was self-propelled, he would have given it 5+ stars and a rave review. That being said, living in Maine, we get a LOT of snow and he used it the last two snowstorms we had. The most recent was very heavy, wet snow and the Squall 208 XP tore through it very well. The other snowblower we had, even self-propelled, kept stopping up.I got a chance to try out the Squall and it was very easy to use - our other snowblower is too bulky and hard for me to use. If you have a single driveway with a path to your front door, this is perfect! But if you have two driveways that aren't close together you may wish this was self-propelled (like our house), but I really loved the Squall! Kudos to MTD and Troy-Bilt!!!!

I would DEFINITELY recommend this snowblower!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried different snow blowers, but this one has been SO awesome to use and is my favorite. It has an electric start, it works for a small amount of snow or lots of snow. It is easy to push, and it is small enough that you don't need a lot of room to store it. It is SUPER powerful! I was aware of the Troy-Bilt brand before getting this snow blower and it lived up to it's name.

The plastic had two cracks in it and the auger...
The plastic had two cracks in it and the auger didn't turn and made a weird noise so I returned it and I'm going to purchase the 24in Troy-Bilt with a metal case and self- propelled
snow blower
