True Temper 6 CF plastic wheelbarrow crack
The plastic tub cracked after 3 mos. of usage. We were hauling concrete blocks and careful not to over-load it. Hauling sand, very small gravel, dirt is perfect for it but nothing heavier or bulkier! Also, the tire looses air a bit too quick.

Good for home gardening
I've had this wheelbarrow for more than a year. Over the course of several home projects, it developed cracks in the bin. Next time I'll purchase a steel bin, trading durability for weight. Here's a summary of what I learned about this product... Downsides: The plastic bin was not long-lasting and didn't stand up to loading larger stone rip-rap and cracked on the bottom, then on the front side. I used a piece of plywood, placed between the bin and frame to strengthen the bottom, which worked until the bin's side cracked. I'm 6'4", and the front end will bottom-out when holding the frame handles standing upright, especially when going uphill. Upsides: The Total Control handles really do work well and help balance the load. The steel frame is tough. The tire occasionally requires inflation, but offers good "roll-ability" over all terrains. While the plastic bin is not as resilient as steel, it is lightweight. Recommendations for True Temper: Increase the thickness of the plastic bin. Slightly alter the position of the tire on the frame so that the frame is less likely to bottom-out in the front.

Review of 6 CU. FT. POLY WHEELBARROW WITH TOTAL CONTROL HANDLES
Great wheelbarrow for what I needed... will outlast metal wheelbarrows and will do what I need for years to come! I was able to get the sand moved and was able to get the walkway in place and look forward to using the wheelbarrow to complete my other outdoor projects too.

Lightweight Good Size
It comes assembled from the Home Depot, while for the most part it was assembled correctly the wheel wasn't properly installed (check picture for proper installation). We have owned the wheelbarrow for approximately 18 months and put it through some different tests. It's hauled firewood during the winter, filled it with leaves in the fall, moved brush in the summer and carted all sorts of odd objects from heavy to bulky during the year, it's somewhat deep for mixing cement. There are a few peculiarities that should be noted, for instance the handles are low, if resting on a slope or hill we found that placing the wheelbarrow downhill prevents it from tilting instead of placing it other way around. It has developed a crack in the tub (check picture), and the tire and tube are paper thin (literally) developed a flat from a thorn on a bush that we were trimming. It's really a pretty good wheelbarrow and if you live on a hilly piece of property the balance is well designed. Tilting the wheelbarrow up to empty is sometimes awkward in that the handles are lower than you might be used to. Very deep tub. Would we buy another one, only after we looked around to see what else is on the market.

Poor quality from Ames true temper
Cracked down middle of the poly barrow after only a year and a half of light use. I would hope it does not split anymore, maybe manufacturer should offer a repair , something like a 1/4 inch sheet of plastic to fit the bottom of the wheelbarrow and a few screws? I will be doing that myself......hopefully it does not continue to crack in half from one end to the other! I gave it a two star rating because it still carries things that I don't want to carry by hand. See attached photos

complete trash
I've never seen $5 plastic buckets, or $10 cement mixing trays split with a winter freeze. This is a true piece of trash. Do not buy it, buy the metal one. It will split. It is obviously a manufacture defect. The spit happened where you can see a variation of color to the plastic.

Light and easy to handle.Plastic body, although light, does flex more than a steel body.Volume is deep with above average carrying capacity. Great value for price and quality.
