Hi April, the installers would not be able to bring in the materials through your home, this comes in panels and would not fit. Please visit homedepot.com/tuffshed and enter your zip code to get your local Tuff Shed sales manager's contact information, they can schedule a virtual site check with you to see if they can offer an alternate solution.

Hi Blue, I would recommend the 10X12 model because it comes with a 6' wide double door, so that may work better for getting furniture in and out!

The roofs shingles were not installed properly, there is trim that is bent, and the door does not close flush. Not to mention working with tough shed is a nightmare. As for Home Depot, their only answer to fix the situation is for me to disassemble the shed, which was assembled for me and have it sent back. Very dissatisfied with ENTIRE process.

I'm usually not the kind of person who writes reviews, but I'm extremely frustrated about the experience that I had buying a Tuff Shed through Home Depot. First off, let me start off by saying that I'm a certified automotive technician and do carpentry/handy man type work on my spare time, so trust me when I tell you that I know what quality workmanship and attention to detail looks like. My problems were mainly with the builders, but I also had a small issue in the beginning with Home Depot and Tuff Shed. So, my wife and I went in to Home Depot knowing exactly what we wanted and were quickly taken care of by the customer service desk. We stood there for an hour and had to designed the shed 2 times because the program that they were using wouldn't allow us to pay for the shed. After the representative made a phone call, it turns out that they don't even use that program any more. Eventually, he figured it out, and we paid for the shed (about $3200 after tax). The next day, I get a call from Tuff Shed and the lady on the phone was very nice, but she was asking me all these questions about the specifications of the shed THAT I JUST SPENT AN HOUR DESIGNING AT HOME DEPOT. Why wasn't this information sent to Tuff Shed? Why did I spend an hour in Home Depot, if I was just going to have to do everything again over the phone? Again, the lady that I talked to at Tuff Shed was very nice and helpful, but it was annoying. The installation was outsourced, which is totally fine, and the installers arrived on time. The installers were a father and son team, which was really awesome and they were super nice, but one of the first questions that one of the guys asked me was, “do you mind if we get a little bit of paint on your driveway”? Now, generally speaking, what do you think my, or anyone else’s answer to that question would be? Really? Who wants paint on their driveway? All you have to do is lay down a tarp. It’s that simple. This is a licensed builder, mind you. In this case, I was being extremely lenient with everything because they’re building my shed when it was super hot out and I felt for them so I told them it wasn’t a big deal assuming that it would only be a couple of drops that I could easily clean up. Well, that wasn’t the case. There’s a pretty decent size paint spot on my driveway now and the best part is, they didn’t even try to clean it up. They just left it there to dry. I also found a paint spot on my recycle bin, which wasn't there before and it's the main color of my shed. After periodically inspecting the shed over the next couple of days, I came across a couple of other things that I wasn't happy with. First, one of the roof panels is only being held on by what looks like 1 or 2 nails because they missed the joist 4 times when they were nailing it down. So, now, theres 4 nails just sticking through the roof. This is a result of the installers not taking their time to properly measure to the center of the joist and ensuring that each nail was properly installed. Lastly, there is black and green mold on one of the horizontal 2x4s that run across the length of the floor to support the wall studs. This was not the installers fault, but it was a huge lack of quality control on Tuff Shed's part. A couple days after the install, the same lady from Tuff Shed called me and asked me how everything went. I explained the paint situation to her since thats what I was most upset about. She said that she would report it to one of her managers and that I might be receiving another call, but I still have not heard anything. Overall, I will say that I am happy with the shed and you can definitely tell the difference in quality between a Tuff Shed and other lesser priced sheds, but as someone who really values customer service, workmanship, and attention to detail, I was very disappointed.

There was only one coat of paint applied with several missed spots. This was irrelevant in my case as I had planned to repaint it to match the house. If you plan to keep the original colors, you'll want to make sure to put another coat on the trim and at least perform some touch up on the body.

Finish work was sloppy. Window framing was not square. No caulking around trim. Exterior walls should go down to ground to cover metal foundation. For a shell structure that cost $300 square foot Tuff Shed really misses the mark. Very disappointed!

Installers arrived at my home an hour early (7am) which was unexpected. However, I told them they can't start making noise until 8am and they understood. They were professional and did an excellent job accommodating my needs by cutting back some foiliage and given the shed was very close to two sides of fence, they did not complain and made due with the space they had. They finished by 10:30am. They made sure to touch up the paint where there were needed. Overall experience was great.
