Easy vermicomposting setup for kids
Solidly built and easy to use. Our kids are having fun taking care of the worms! You can make a homemade vermicomposting bin at much lower cost, but this one keeps the maintenance a bit easier due to the built-in drainage tap and double tray. The bedding material is good and clean.

Easy to put together
Shipping was fast. This was very easy to put together. I watched a video on youtube and it was identical to the instructions. My red wigglers love their new home. I would definitely recommend this product.

Just got my 2nd one -- first is 12 years old and works perfectly!
This is an incredibly sturdy, functional, and easy to use worm composting bin. I love it! My first bin has been in continuous use for 12 years and looks virtually identical to my new one except that the older model has 3 trays instead of 2. Composting has minimized stinky kitchen garbage, is earth friendly as it reduces methane gas production, and gives me lots of high quality compost. Since I live in a tropical climate, I keep both in my little backyard under a tree where they drain into the ground. But it could be set up in a shed, basement or garage if a small container is placed under the spigot to catch any liquid. The cover is perforated with tiny holes so it vents but still keeps smells in (when I overfeed) and bugs out. Once you get the hang of it, worm composting is easy and low maintenance and the little worms are actually quite cute. p.s. I got the second one since we expanded our garden and I have more green waste to dispose.
