TRIPOD CAME UPSIDE DOWN - Legs Facing Up
I started by opening the product and following the instructions to build Ring Light Media Station came entirely UPSIDE DOWN I'm not even sure how I'm going to use the stand at all. The one job this whole media stand had. FAIL
I got this as a gift so I feel bad not putting it to use.
SO THANKFUL I PERSONALLY DID NOT SPEND THE MONEY.

Great Product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is amazing! I love the lighting and the looks that it gives on my photos. It’s super easy to put together. The one thing I don’t know if why there is a piece that doesn’t belong. I can’t find where it goes but either way, I still love it. You can make it tall or short so I love that about this light. The microphone part is a little wobbly but still works great. I also love that it has three settings of light and that you can higher or lower those. Super easy to manage as well. I haven’t been able to figure out the microphone since I can’t hear any difference when I record but that doesn’t really matter to me much. You also need to keep in mind that for the microphone you will need an adaptor if you have an iPhone but not much of a problem since your iPhone should come with it. As for the light, it is really great quality. The stand feels very sturdy and the light is super bright and nice. I also like that there is a place to put your phone and it doesn’t seem like it will fall at all. I give it a really good rate! Is super nice and I love it!

Mic jack is wrong!
The mic cable should be recalled. The jack connects to the speaker output instead of the Mic input. Total fail.
Plug the Mic into the phone, then put the Mic to your ear. Press play on any audio on your phone...mp3, video, anything with audio. You'll hear it play back thru the microphone. C'mon guys!

Light is great but the microphone is useless!
Bought this for my daughter for her birthday. She was so excited. The halo light is great and not difficult to assemble. However the instructions weren't helpful so we used the picture on the box. The light modes are nice but there is no way to plug in the microphone to the phone. We had to purchase that separately and it still doesn’t work. So it’s completely useless. Guess I’ll be buying another microphone for it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

light didn't last long
My daughter loved the product but the light burned out quickly and there is no way to just replace the light bulb. The light ring is one piece. I don't see any way you can just buy a replacement light. I hate to have to thro the entire stand out just because the light needs replaced.
