Clear PVC tubing manufactured with non-toxic FDA compounds. Can be used for flexible lines for low pressure air, water, liquids, beverages, chemicals and gases as well as drain lines for air conditioners and dehumidifiers. Excellent resistance to mild acids and chemicals. See through design allows for visual flow. Not for use with ice makers or petroleum based products.

    A:  Haven't used it in this capacity but many battery breather's use something similar! I would simply purchase the hose (it is cheap enough), dip a end of it in a cell and see what it does/doesn't do in regards to the acid. That would be the only way I would be sure.

    This tubing worked perfect, I've used it to bleed the brakes in my car and it fitted snugly on the bleeder screw. I only used less than 3 feet so I still have enough of it for future brake jobs. The quality is excellent and the price at Home Depot was unbeatable.
