A:  Hi Mia, There are the nominal dimensions that are generally listed - and that harken back to the days before wood was "smoothed" and made smaller by that process- that are always bigger than the actual, and then there are the real/actual dimensions. The actual dimensions for this product are .625 in. x 7.125 in. x 8 ft. This info will always be on our product page, either right after the nominal or down below.

A:  per a linear foot ? well 6 foot x a 6 pack is 36 linear feet, then you just to need to know the cost with tax at your local store and divide.

A:  MP, Prices do vary somewhat by location, so either contact your preferred Home Depot location to determine the price in your area, or make sure that your computer location setting accurately reflects your location, then divide the cost of the board by 36 feet.

          Not 8”
I bought this 6 pack thinking it would be the perfect size for what I needed. Got it in and the boards are only 7”. So now I need one more board and I’m not sure how to order just one.

Ordered these eased edge shiplap boards to finish the ceiling in a new room we built in our basement. Boards arrived via UPS and were well packaged. We let them sit in the packages for several weeks in the basement to acclimate. They probably didn’t need to sit that long, but we weren’t ready. The boards were nailed directly to the ceiling joists. A pattern was worked out to evenly stagger the joints, and minimize waste. There were some boards slightly cupped, and a minor split, but there were no ‘unusable’ boards. All in all, this ceiling project went very well, and we are pleased with the results. This room was just the beginning of a total basement remodeling job, so we’ll be ordering many more boxes. The photos below show the boards as installed, before any finish applied. We still haven’t decided what finish, but it will be a combo stain/sealer. My advise is to take your time, follow nailing instructions, measure twice, cut square, and figure out a pattern that staggers the joints and minimizes waste.

Ordered 20 "Packs" - Was surprised to see they came in boxes and not just bundled with tie wire, all seem to uniform in size, kiln dried like it says. Textured side seems a little "Fuzzy", lots of scraggly pieces hanging off it. Some pieces to seem to have hairline cracks down their length, some knots bigger and deeper than others, but not bad in the slightest. Only thing that got me, was because I'm waiting for windows to arrive, I decided to pull these out and pre-primer them as they are going on the exterior of a house. As the primer dried the pieces did seem to warp, shouldn't bee problem though once I nail it in

This product is tongue and groove and it was easy to work with! I am not the most handy and even I could successfully put this in my hallway! The hubby was VERY impressed sense he is a carpenter and picky with woodwork! With that being said I think just about anyone could work with this product and make it look nice! We stained ours with Minwax wood stain color: "Jacobean" also sold at Home Depot.

                    Varying widths between lengths...
I ordered a combination of 4' and 6' boards for a recent project, of the 6" width. To my surprise, the 4' were consistently around 1/16 of an inch wider than the 6', which just turned my simple one day project into an agonizing multi-day nightmare project
