This factory-milled board is primed and painted to mimic the natural texture and patina of aged and weathered barn wood. The appeal of reclaimed wood and rustic wood makes this perfect for projects around the house. Each new board is machined and pre-finished on one side to give a distressed appearance and to highlight the woods rough sawn texture. Due to the natural characteristics of wood, some cupping and warp may occur. These products are not recommended for outdoor applications. If used for exterior applications, wood protector sealant is required. Color will vary from board to board and lot to lot. It is recommended you purchase your entire job, plus a minimum of 10% overage to ensure most consistent color.

Color not as it appears
The wire brushed texture is very beautifully executed. The color is thin overall. The charcoal appears to be green because of the thin color application. You will see raw blonde wood overall. We are going to apply additional color to make it more "charcoal" less "pine green".

good product, not perfect
This shiplap is beautiful, and we'll manufactured in its look. Occasionally I found boards that are bowed or slightly undeveloped. it's not hard to work around, but I do reccomend being prepared to make adjustments. With all that said I still love this product.

Perfect for an Attractive Accent Wall!
This ship-lap was perfect for an accent wall in our bedroom. Light Brown was a little darker than pictured but it turned out terrific. Be sure the use the "face size" for figuring out your sq footage because of the overlap. Despite others complaining about warping and cupping, I let my lumber acclimate to the room environment for several days before installing it (as directed in the instructions) and had no problems. I figured sq footage estimate well over because of some comments about waste. I had absolutely NO waste other than trimmings. I have about six or seven full lengths leftover..... I guess I will have to find another project to use them on. Great product!

Not all White
I love the looks of this. However after getting our walls half done we noticed that it’s not all white. It’s really disappointing. Now we have some white and the rest of the white is yellow looking. And it was ordered all at the same time as suggested

I love this stuff, it does have some imperfections but that is what gives it that farm house look...
I love this stuff, it does have some imperfections but that is what gives it that farm house look. There were a few pieces that I used at the bottom or on the end where I could cut that area out. I also used screws and that helped with any that were a little warped, they hide under the lap and you don't see them. I would definitely buy them again. I also used some of my scraps with a stained glass piece and a barn door cabinet slide to hide an eyesore electrical panel in this bedroom. Turned out awesome, I think.

Recommend this product. It is a bit pricey but having the boards already painted and distressed made it worth while. Bought 6 packs and only had one board with a crack in the corner. I was able to work around that. We did a color match at Home Depot and bought a sampler of paint to touch up end grain cuts that appeared or any minor imperfections. Love the outcome.
