I wouldn’t use in a wall tent.
Thank you for asking about out cast iron line of product. the measurement's as listed below . 13.88 Wide 14.14 Tall
13.88 x 14.17 for door frame
Full swing door. Stops on barrel when opening.
I’m not entirely sure, but I do remember that when I first got it my thought was, “This is hefty and well made.” It’s got 3 cast iron pieces, at least. My best estimation would be 35 - 40 lbs. Sorry that I cannot be more precise.
Can be used in a cabin, we have been heating our cabin with one for over 50 years (not the same one, barrel burns out) but check your insurance company, most will not insure building with this type of heater inside. May need to find a smaller "mutual" type insurance company in your area.
I’m not looking at mine right now, but it’s about one foot square, give or take an inch. Sorry I can’t be more specific than that.
You can fit everything except for the door in a flat rate box and it come out to 35 I have yet to find a box that fits the door and usps ups and fedex all want above 45 to ship just the door
MATT, YES YOU CAN USE THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL, BUT THE DOOR SHOULD FIT WITHOUT THE BUNG INTERFERING WITH THE DOOR. THE PHOTO OF THE DOOR APPEARS LARGER THAN IT IS.
I don’t remember if it came with a gasket or not. I’ve seen some talk about these kits having issues with the door seal, so picking up your own gasket rope kit is probably advisable. I still haven’t built my stove yet - but I have the kit and am glad that I will have it when it’s needed.
