Questions & Answers

Do u need a damper if u have this

Asked by: Bert
Having a damper is not necessary. The blower will actually run more often without a damper due to more wasted heat going up the chimney. Your best efficiency would be gained from using a damper and the blower.

Just bought my first Heat Reclaimer. I have it installed about 4 foot up the pipe, the thermostat is kicking on and off. I can't feel much air coming from the blower, is this normal. I didn't see any information on requirements on where to install the unit. My pipe section to the ceiling is approx. 10 ft. After reading this post I notice it needs to be 18" from the stove. Do I need to take the blower back down and reinstall it closer to the stove? I need help I am tired of being cold. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.
Asked by: cold
Ours sets about 4 ft above as well kicks on off. It's NOT like a blower with a motorized fan. You do have to clean it out from the creosote or it gets blocked. We also have ceiling fans to circulate the air around. We are well pleased.

does the Miracle heat blower have to run on power .

Asked by: davishonky
Yes. It is to be plugged into a 110v service outlet. Once plugged in it will turn off and on as it is necessary.

Will this blower cause wood consumption to increase

Asked by: Wad
this will not cause any increase in your burn rates. It is designed to scavenge heat that is lost in the flue and transfer it back into your room.
