can you use drywall joint compound for the seam instead of mortar?
Asked by HD January 16, 2021Since I was using this on interior bathroom walls, and not a shower wall, I used joint compound over top of seam tape. Joint compound is much easier to sand, and the finish is smoother.

Can I glue this to basement concrete cinder block walls?
Asked by LF August 7, 2020You can use thinset and set it to the concrete or block walls but why are you wanting to do this you can just tile directly to the walls. Use a redgaurd if wanting to keep it waterproof.
What is the heat rating on this product? Can it be used around a fire place?
