AnswersThank you for your question. The patch would have to be tapped and finished it is not self adhesive. Drywall clips may also be an option for the application.

AnswersI couldn't lift a full 4' x 8' sheet (I'm a 60-year-old female), so I cut it in half in the store and took both pieces home. The cashier didn't seem surprised so I guess I'm not the only one who's done this. It meant an additional seam in the wall I was repairing, but it looked fine and saved me $700 by doing the job myself.

AnswersGet on your computer and look up Angie's list. Look up a carpenter in your area. Have him come out, give you an easement and some referrals. Call and see if they were happy with his work. I honestly think this job is over your pay scale. Plus your cost for tools, mud, paint and all other little things. This patch panel is a quick and easy way to get a small piece of drywall for a patch or repair. The edges are straight with one side taped, also the corners are square. This is a bit expensive compared to getting a full 4'x8' sheet, but I only needed a small piece for a repair and I do not have the space to store excess material if I bought a full sheet. Made of high quality gypsum and USG is the leader in drywall.

I don’t do a lot of drywalling, so having an option to get smaller pieces instead of an entire panel is nice. Mine was clean cut, square with smooth edges. My only complaint about these is you pay out the nose for the convince of having smaller pieces. Two small pieces cost as much if not more than a full sheet, if I had my truck available would of just got the full sheet and did my own cuts.

I only bought these as weather wasn't good for transporting a full sheet. A full sheet would have been more cost effective for my project.
Please wear gloves when handling as I was unaware of little fibers that protrude from fresh snap cuts. These fibers felt like fiberglass... please wear a face mask when using a Surform on this product.
Also, as a former HD Team Member, if space is a concern in your transport method or weather isn't decent and you need drywall... an associate may be kind enough to cut a full sheet down... or you can cut one down yourself at the store... you'd just have to pay for the whole sheet. I should have just bought a whole sheet.
This product made my patch job so easy. I was grateful to not have to get a full sheet of drywall...

This product made my patch job so easy. I was grateful to not have to get a full sheet of drywall. This was the perfect size. It was easy to install into my hole and trim down for the hole. these are very decently priced. They are durable too. Love this product made it easy for me to be able to fix the hole without my husbands assistance. Great product.

I purchased this drywall panel to use with my ceramics/pottery building. All that's required is putting duct tape around the edges and it's good to go. The drywall helps to wick away the moisture from wet clay making it more workable. It works great! The board in this photo was used with brown clay to make this pot and then wiped with a wet sponge. I think you can see, it's none the worse for wear!
