Thank you for your inquiry. It weighs approximately 63 pounds per 4.5 gallon bucket. Hope this helps.
I watered it down a little put a coat on paper next and then a smooth thin coat over top. It worked well
I really don't know, but I will guess about 10 buckets
The answer will depend on how thick you apply it. In my case, I waited 24 hours after each coat and that was enough. This is not a fast-drying joint compound. Those are available in 20, 45, and 90 minute drying times.
Yes, you can use for skim coating
This is what you need
Yes this can be used with fiberglass tape
It can be done, but it will be much faster drying to use 90 minute, 45 minute or 20 minute powdered joint compound. Mix it yourself to the desired thickness if your hand troweling or if you’re going to use a texture sprayer to create a finish or to knock it down those I mention will be better. Your project will dry in faster and your finished outcome will be prepared for your finished wall paint. You can get some great outcomes without a ton of time and effort using a gun. A hand trowel can also make for a good finish as long as you practice and have a consistent technique. To your success!
