The Trailer Aluminum Chest Box provides small storage solutions for home, work and/or your vehicle. Patented Fully Foamed Lid creates a rigid wall between outer aluminum layers to help prevent bending or warping. TBV-34 features a built-in welded Aluminum support for a secure mounting on the lighter-weight straight tongues of boat and snowmobile trailers. The Stainless Steel Paddle Handle Lock provides strength, security and rust-free product life.
- Connecting rod enclosure helps prevent box contents from bending or jamming the locking system
- 0.063 in. aluminum 1-piece tub and lid is designed to support heavy loads, absorb tool drops and prevent leakage
- Microseal stripping helps seal out moisture, dust and dirt
- Self-closing struts automatically close the lid, with slight manual pull, securing the box when hands are full

Disappointed.
1) Good - Tool box came in a double box.
2) Good - Overall appearance looks good.
3) Bad - Lid Latch pin was loose & flimsy.
4) Bad - Foam tape for lid seal.
5) Bad - Front panel noticeably fabricated out of plumb.
Expected better quality for the price.

Very disappointed!
The UWS 49” box I ordered from Home Depot was damaged - at the factory with several large dents along the bottom edge - clearly at the factory - not in shipping. You advertise “damage free delivery” and the shipping/packaging was more than adequate. I sent the first box back and re- ordered through Home Depot and have now received the second box which again is damaged! There are several areas where the paint/coating is chipped AND all the rivets in the lid are not flush with the sheet metal- there is also a dent/warping of one of the sides! Your quality control is lacking or non- existent to put it nicely. I will not order from UWS again and will admonish others not to either. Again your packing is more than adequate but you need to expend some effort in quality control prior to placing in the packing boxes/material! I am extremely disappointed in a made in the USA product has such poor quality!
