Bundling Hides A Multitude Of Sins. Yesterday when I went to cut the plastic bands bundling them together (I wish I was able to capture it on video) it was like opening a spring-loaded can of gag peanut brittle. Half of the 12 sprang into twisted warped pieces that would work out great if I was making rocking chairs, but utterly worthless for building anything non-curved.

        They're furring strips...
These are not structural boards, nor are they finish grade. They aren't meant to be, they're furring strips. They're meant to be spacers between materials or more commonly used as sacrificial supports. That's it. And for that purpose they work perfectly.

          Perfect for the correct application
Furring strips are not designed for finish trim, but for the under skeleton that walls and ceilings are attached to. As will virtually all limber, the actual size is different from the common size. 1"x2" boards are .75"x 1.5". 2x4's are 1.5"x3.5" etc. As they are designed for framing, they usually dont need to be perfect visually. Just select the best looking ones if you are using them for a not framing application.

You'll get what you pay for.
I am going to review this product based on its description written here on the website. 1. The shape consistency of this product is irregular. Meaning, this wooden strip will have irregular bends (by every direction). So, when you stack them together, it will not align together seamlessly. To phrase it in another way, if you lay the wooden strip on the ground, every strip will curve differently, and when you position many strips together, they will not sit uniformly. I suggest that you buy them fresh, off the same batch, if you want a uniformed and consistent shape. 2. If you are planning on heading over to the nearest store, thinking that you will find a 1" x 2" x 8" wooden strip, then you are mistaken. Read the description here more carefully, and you'll discover that the nominal size differs from the actual size. The actual sizes is 0.75" x 1.5* x 8* 3. This is not "premium" wood. The surface will not be smooth for the most part, and you will find cracks. Some strips will be severely cracked, so be attentive when picking your strips. As the product description says, this is more suitable for the interior "frame" of a structure, not exterior appearance.

            Deck floor
Can be used as deck flooring if your bottom support is spaced 1.5 ft apart.
