A: I have 4 of them on dimmers and have not had any problem with them.
A: It’s supposed to be 900 hours, but I wouldn’t know yet since I just got them. They work great for heat lamps for my chicks though!

A: According to the information on the carton, each light bulb will provide light for 3 hours per day for 0.9 years. I calculated that out and if the light bulb was used for just three hours per day, it would last for 328.5 days. That figures to 985.5 total hours for the life of the bulb.

A: I tested he halogen bulb with a meter and got 183 degrees. When I tested a regular bulb, the meter went to 248 degrees. The halogen bulb is also dimmable. In either case, both bulbs are hot to the touch.
