A: It’s supposed to be 900 hours, but I wouldn’t know yet since I just got them. They work great for heat lamps for my chicks though!

A:Â 1000 hours

A:Â According to the information on the carton, each light bulb will provide light for 3 hours per day for 0.9 years. I calculated that out and if the light bulb was used for just three hours per day, it would last for 328.5 days. That figures to 985.5 total hours for the life of the bulb.

A:Â I tested he halogen bulb with a meter and got 183 degrees. When I tested a regular bulb, the meter went to 248 degrees. The halogen bulb is also dimmable. In either case, both bulbs are hot to the touch.

Fantastic lighting!!!! Love These ECO incandescent A19 soft white dimmable frosted bulbs
I bought a lot of different light bulbs and brands to find the right bright outdoor lighting I was looking for. These Ecosmart ECO INCANDESCENT A19 soft white 100w are the ONLY ones I like. There is no plastic at the lower 1/2 to give off less light! I hate white led lighting indoors, horrible!! It's ok on Christmas decorations but not for lighting indoors or reading.

I had switched my household lights to LEDs but was less than satisfied with their performance in my bathroom. I choose to go with Halogen lights as their replacements as I could get the equivalent light for less wattage when compared to incandescent. At only 72 watts, the Halogen lightbulbs did was I hoped. They gave brighter light which was more concentrated and they also lit the entire room up much better than LEDs.
I'm including photos of the bulbs in the room for both the Halogen and the LEDs. Note that the reflected wall in the mirror is much brighter with the Halogen lights. With the other, the wall is dim and dark, kind of how the room felt with them.
With these Halogen lightbulbs, I get the brightness and overall room coverage that I used to get with incandescent for a savings in wattage that I appreciate.

I am hoping what I bought are not halogen...or anything but incandencent! That is what I asked for and I thought that is what I bought. I know many, many people that are looking for incandescent! Where are they! I do not use hologen or the other fake lights!

I like incandescent bulbs. It’s criminal that they’ve gotten ridiculously expensive and burn out seemingly faster than they used to.
