Plywood is a powerful structural product used where strength and stiffness are required for subfloors, wall or roof sheathing and do-it-yourself projects. Plywood is made of layers of thin sheets of veneer in alternating wood grain directions, which increases the strength and stiffness of the final panels while providing superior dimensional stability and resistance to warping. Every piece meets the highest grading standards for strength and appearance

CDX is resistant to splitting, puncturing and impact damage.

Bought 8 sheets to use as underlayment for the kitchen floor. The sheets had voids in the middle larger than a size 12 shoe. I know this because said shoe broke through the sheets when walking across them. I am fairly certain that it was a bad manufacturing run, but be sure to inspect sheets before you buy. These particular sheets were not structurally sound.

Storage closet
Product was fine, but I made the order online and received some warped panels that made are job more difficult then it had to be.

Boards
The boards were strong, save the fact they were not square, and couple of the boards were not the size that was displayed on tag and sticker on board. One board was actually two different sizes on each end, 1/2" on one end and 5/8" on the other.

Used to be a great product.
In the past it was 5 ply and a great product. Now it is 4 ply and that is stretching it as one of the outer layers looks skimpy. In my opinion it is now 3.5 ply. In addition, the price has almost doubled over the last 12-14 months.

Good Wood
My brother used this type of wood to build me a bookcase, and it looks as nice as it is useful. It is a very strong wood, so the shelves can hold heavy books without bowing. I love the way the grain goes in different directions. I would recommend this wood for any DIY furniture project!
