what a joke!
These clips are not very strong and will not hold up a sink indefinitely.

They are supposed to be stainless steel, but are magnetic....
They are supposed to be stainless steel, but are magnetic. That indicates that they were stamped from cheap garbage Chinese stainless steel. The Chinese steel has just enough chromium element to be called stainless, but has poor corrosion resistance and poor strength. They bend too easily when clamped.
