Great For Cleaning Exterior Composite Deck Surfaces
I found this to be the "cat's meow" for cleaning the surface of my 1.5 year old composite deck. You don't need an Unger pole to put it on. I put mine on a regular pole and held the Unger scrubber with a screw, washers, and a nut thru a hole drilled in the old handle. The second surface is great for any area that needs some additional scrubbing. This is wide enough to contact a lot of the surface without weight and bulk. It is very easy to rinse clean with a garden hose. I bought mine at a discounted price at HD. If they're discontinuing this product, HD is making a BIG mistake!! I used a weak solution of trisodium phosphate (also available at HD - get the powder), liquid laundry detergent, and bleach in a full 2-gal pump-up sprayer. Rinse the deck well with water from a garden hose, spray sections of the surface with the solution, let it stand for 2-3 minutes, use this to scrub the surface, and then rinse thoroughly with water. That did a superb job on my 700 sq. ft. Azek deck, and I wasn't pooped afterwards. BTW, I'm 78, and a retired chemist, so I know what I'm doing with those chemicals. BY ALL MEANS, PROTECT YOUR EYES WHEN USING THAT SOLUTION!!! If it gets on your skin, just rinse it off with copious amounts of water. In 2 gal of solution I used 1/4 cup trisodium phosphate powder, 1 cup liquid laundry detergent, and 1 cup of household bleach. The rest is water. Eazy cleaning to all!

Too big for a normal sized bucket
You can fit a 14 inch scrubber in a standard bucket, but this 18 incher is too big. It works ok, but I'm not buying a custom bucket just to use it. When it comes to cleaning a window, you dont need a wider squeegee. Returning it tomorrow.
