Lock-On 4-Sided Deck Scrub Brush

A:  The 4 Sided Deck Brush is recommended for outdoor use as it has stiff bristles. However, the Unger 2 in1 Bath & Tile Brush is recommended for a Bathtub, item #979730.

A:  There are V-shaped brushes specially made just for cleaning grout. I think the video for these Unger brushed shows one that's yellow in color. Just search for "grout brushes". I use both - most flat surface brushes will not get down into the grout channel

A:  They are stiff and should work for you,

A:  the bristles are very stiff and are about 1 1/2 inches long. if you are looking for a really stiff scrub brush this is a good choice.

A:  If your HD has no Unger locking handles in stock - Get Wood handles with METAL threads on them. Plastic handles & threads never worked for me - always came loose. Wood threads are better than plastic threads since the wood swells when wet & stays good.

A:  Bristles on this brush are stiff. Should work for what you are intending to use it for.

A:  Just try twisting snug , take a look at the twist in and it should turn clockwise a little and hear it lock, good luck it took me twice to figure out ..

A:  I had no problem with a handle I had in my garage that tightened firmly and did not spin off.

A:  There is a locking handle that goes with this and I ordered mine from the Home Depot so it is available try ordering online that's how I got mine.

A:  The Lock-On system will be launching in the Home Depot stores throughout the month of September 2019. There are nine products in the line: 2 poles, 2 floor squeegees, 1 broom head and 4 brushes. It is being set up in the broom bay in all stores.

A:  hope this info is helpful, Home Depot stocks several Unger brand handles to fit this deck brush, you might want to look at Model # 962720, store sku # 469848, internet # 202433848 which is a 4' to 8' telescopic pole with connect and clean locking cone and pro locking collar for less than $ 19.00 or model # 964520, internet # 203177328 which is a 4' 5-in-1 aluminum floor handle system for under $ 8.00 but doesn't have the lock collar.
