Piktrthis: Not knowing it's composition, that's a hard one to answer. Mine got the ground dirt and grease off of my driveway and garage floor and both of my neighbors. You might want to ask the manufacturer. I hope that helps, Hank

I'm looking for something to scrape a wax build up on a trazodone floor.

This tool would probably be useful, but the edge is pretty sharp so be careful using it. You don't want to scratch the tiles. You might first want to treat the wax buildup with a wax removal product - this, along with a mop or cloth, should get most of the wax off the tiles.

I got this floor scraper thinking it was like a flat hoe, it is not, the long handle scraper has a thin stainless steel, razor blade like blade. I tried it, and it worker for the floor job I had to do. The thin blade was strong enough to get under the carpet tile and remove it with multiple scrapes. I then had to scrape away the old glue. It did that too. It also had a cushioned end on the handle. I am impressed with it, I have added it to my tool rack

The product is well made with a long handle with 4" blade at one end. The product worked well for scraping stuff from a cement floor. However, it could easily damage wood floor as the blade edge is very sharp. The product came with dull edge of the blade installed and it had a plastic cover over it for protection. The protective cover is designed with two tabs (one at each end) as shown in the pictures and to remove it one has to push these tabs "out" while sliding the cover out. I found it difficult (I am in my 70's) to remove the protective blade cover with my hands. Actually, it was more difficult to slide the cover back on because you have to push two tabs (one at each edge) while pushing the cover in. With sharp blade edge exposed this can easily injure someone. While it is made that way to prevent kids from getting cut but seniors might find it hard to remove /reinstall it without risking injuries.

Decent Floor Scraper for the price.
Decent Scraper for polished floors. Used this to remove drywall mud, paint and misc primers from a concrete polished floor. It takes some elbow grease but overall this does what it needs to.
