What can be used to seal and protect the faux Stone from weather stains and fading?

I usually keep it under a patio deck or cover it with the black cape it comes with. I’m sure you can only do so much to protect it if you leave it out in the open exposed to all seasons in the year.

Yes, it is a great source of heat but you still have to dress appropiately.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Originally we loved this product it's pretty, it's exactly the size we wanted it, my husband put... Originally we loved this product it's pretty, it's exactly the size we wanted it, my husband put it together quickly, it worked great for about a year and a half. We tried to start it this season had it covered all winter took care of it and it just wouldn't start. My husband did everything to make it start, blew out the hoses bought two new regulators. So I called the manufacturer and the answer I got is the most ridiculous answer I have ever heard from a company. It was, it sounds like it's the regulator and I said yes we already tried it twice, well it sounds like it needs to be blown out there might be bugs etc. I said yes my husband did all that. So my husband got on the phone with them because they said that they could walk him through it so he wouldn't miss any steps. This was done and at the very end of it they told my husband yes it's the regulator ( it's a special regulator, one that we get from China, that is the only one that goes with that fire pit ) but we don't have any in stock right now. My husband asked when will you have some in stock, the answer was we don't know. So they said they will put us on the list so when a regulator comes in they will let us know so we can order it. We called again a month later and asked if the regulars were in stock yet the answer was no again and we don't know when they will be in. So it now has been now been 3 months that we have not been able to use our beautiful fire pit that we have enjoyed so much and this company could care less that the only reason we can't use it is because we're waiting for a special regulator. To our knowledge most regulators are standard . So we are extremely unhappy and disappointed.

We’ve been having issues with the fire starting mechanism, it takes a while for the fire to catch on, and the mechanism itself drains the AA batteries very quickly. Also, the cover that comes with it is pointless because it tears about as easily as paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Working as designed I ordered it on line. Plans for the delivery were set. The unit was delivered as expected. I assembled it ( minor assembly). Fired it up and it has been work as design ever since. Very happy with it.

We had a gas outlet and we would suggest offering a conversion kit if the purchaser chooses not to use a propane tank. It was a LOT of trouble for our contractor to find a conversion kit that would work. We also bought fire glass as we liked it better than the lava rocks. Had we used the rocks with the conversion kit we purchased we would have needed quite a few more and smaller rocks. Probably due to the kit we were able to use. We are very happy with the product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As advertised We were looking for a fire pit with enough room to set plates down on the fire pit. This one works perfectly. My only complaint was we had a hard time adjusting the closing for the propane and it did not fit just right.
