The 3/4 in. thick welded-steel frame is enhanced by tasteful scrollwork and has a durable, galvanized screen that deters insects as well as enhances your safety. The door has a 2-3/8 in. lockset opening and can be mounted either left or right-hinged to an existing door trim surface. AnswersExcept for lockset and pneumatic door closer, yes. I would also recommend unscrewable lag bolts and flat washers of smaller diameter than the provided. clockwise-only screws to ensure optimal initial door installation and operation before replacing, one-by-one, with provided security screws.
how do you reverse the door swing

AnswersThe swing (or handedness) of all doors is fixed and cannot be changed--any and all screen doors must swing outward, toward the person opening the screen to enter the building through its entry door. That said, the door knob/lever & deadbolt side of the security screen door can be reversed left to right and vice versa by simply lifting and rotatingg the door, top-over-bottom to place lockset (lever/knob & deadbolt) cutouts on the chosen side. Remember, that once the door is reversed, the decorative, scrollwork trim must remain on the exterior/outdoor face of the screen--which means the door must NOT be reversed by rotating it about its vertical centerline.

AnswersYou can paint just about anything. But, have you tried holding the screen up to your entry door to see whether or not the entry door is even visible with the screen closed? It seems like rather poor economy to purchase even an inexpensive door like the Su Casa, only to throw away perhaps half of more of its value and then spend a good Grant of Franklin more for enamel paint and painting labor for two or three re-coats inside and outside.

I received three of these doors for my birthday in August, 2020. I'm astounded to find them already rusting. This is not at all what I expected and I'm very disappointed. This might work in a dry climate like Arizona. It is attractive from a distance but if it is already rusting, then there is a real problem with how the door is finished in the factory. Or perhaps with the materials used. Don't buy unless you want to have to look at taking it down and repainting after only a couple of months.

This was pretty easy to put up the only thing was once you put in the screws in you need to have them exact because you cant take them out or even tighten them more, I ordered 2 of these because my home needed screen doors and these were a lot better the regular screen doors the screen is thick metal and wont get holes in it or tear loose like a regular screen doors would and I have not noticed any bugs getting In with them either in the last few months I've had them up, and they look great, they actually make my home look like it's in a better homes and garden magazine eberyone that stops by comments on how good they look and how well there made and it's just more of a forever door and also peace of mind on the extra protection they provide, these were a great price and are a great strong door, you won't be disappointed

In order to catch any studs with anchor bolts the whole door needs to n=be at least an inch wider and taller. Was able to catch a stud with the hinge bar but in order to barely catch one for the latch bar I had to go so far out that only the dead bolt will loch and there is a big gap between the bar and door.

The door is exactly what I needed to protect my home and be a door strong enough to not get broken by my pitbull baby due to his strength I didn’t want a normal screen door because it wouldn’t be able to take a hard hit but this one is up for the job would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a door to stand up to a large dog
