I used a grinder and made a slot where a regular large screwdriver would fit in there just to back it off a little, then used vice grips to back it out the rest of the way. worked for me...

Yes, but the tool will work much better. I bought the uniqe design doors and the bars for the windows and the tool comes with them free. That way I didn't have to buy it separately.
