There is constant condensation on the back wall (and then frozen ice). It’s the whole of the back wall of the fridge (not the freezer). I’ve tried different temperatures. And it’s already been about 2/3 weeks. I don’t leave the fridge door open and it’s rare that foods are put in the fridge while still hot. I don’t get it, and I’m very disappointed.

Our Unique Retro Refrigerators are Manual Defrost. This means that there are no coils heating the back wall of the fridge in order to reduce or get ride of any condensation. To have some condensation on the back wall of the fridge is completely normal and not at all out of the ordinary for a manual defrost fridge. In fridge temperatures you can simply wipe the condensation as it will not get cold enough to freeze. I was looking for a tall and skinny vintage/retro fridge to go into our kitchen. I seen this one on the Home Depot website, and fell in love. As I was looking I did notice it didnt have much space inside of it, but I was ok with that as it is just my son,husband, and I. I have had it for a month and it works well. I am pleased how quick it came, it came before the expected date. I did get the extended warranty on it, but I have not received the paperwork on it.

I had been searching for a reasonably priced, tall/narrow fridge for a long time... and finally found The One. At just over $100 per cubic foot, it is more expensive than a conventional fridge but well below the price of other models of its size. It shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition. After installing, I set the manual temperature dial to 7 as per instructions, and it cooled very quickly. I now have it set at 5 and the fridge temp is 38 - 42F and the freezer is -5, very good in a warm kitchen. The interior back wall does frost up as the manual says, but after six days in hot, humid weather it is still very minimal. The tempered glass shelves, plastic bins/door shelves and bottle rack are very good quality. The LED light in the fridge, while not the brightest, is adequate and reflects well off the interior. It has a sleek, attractive look and runs quietly.
The doors are not reversible and shipping options were limited to curbside delivery or ship to store, but these were not major issues for me. Overall I am very satisfied with it.

Too early to speak of ease of defrosting and durability, for the price we certainly hope to enjoy this fridge for years to come. Space saving design and retro look get 5 stars and, though not large, it packs enough food for the two of us.
