Can you leave this in the growers pot and just place the whole thing in a decorative pot\basket or does the plant need to be re-potted in a larger pot?
Asked by: pmn
Yes! It’s actually better to leave it in its original pot for awhile so that it can adjust to its new environment. I won’t repost mine until it gets a little bigger.

How tall is this when bought?

12-14" above the soil line. They are dissappointingly small. Home Depot needs to clarify that the 22" shipping size INCLUDES the 12" tall pot.

I'm planning on getting one or two of those plants but I'm not sure how this particular plant will handle shipping in winter. I live in Chicago and the forecast for the next few days is about 20 F. Go for it or wait?
Asked by: Magdalena
I purchased mine and the estimated shipping date was the same week we had a 20 degree + cold front come in. They delayed the shipping and I got it the next week when the weather was 60+. They left a note in the box saying why it had been delayed. I didn't mind at all, but I am also home when the mail comes everyday so I got it inside immediately.

Can we plant this in the front yard , and not in a pot, in Jacksonville Florida weather?
Asked by: Anonymous
To Communityanswer, I do believe, that ALL plants came from the outdoors so of course they can be planted outdoors. The only concern is ... Location. Too cold, too hot, to wet, too dry, too sunny, too shady... All depend on location. Why on earth would you so foolishly answer the way you did? Just sayin..
