perfect size bin for garden storage use
I bought two of these to use in the garden to hold supplies and tools. I needed one that was thin enough to fit in the corner, and tall enough to not tip over. Arrived today and I’m very happy with it. Very sturdy and half the cost of the similar name brand version. For use outside I drilled holes in the bottom (like a planter) so rain water won’t accumulate. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Not as advertised and poor quality
Got this today and immediately realized the HD description is incorrect. This DOES NOT include any “cinch” mechanism for restraining the trash bag in the handles. It is a lie. Also, the injection molding is poor quality, has had no finishing applied, with sharp protrusions everywhere. I had to trim them off myself. Definitely not recommended

False Advertisement
Chose this trash can because the handles hold the trash bag, but the can I received does not have the right handles. There is even a sticker on the can that shows the right handles, but the can definitely doesn’t have them. Super bummed.

I’ve been fighting with Home Depot as well as the United Solutions company since receiving this trash can.
Home Depot’s solution is for me to just return it.
United Solutions says you have to have a way bigger trash bag to make it stay into place.
So annoying!
The keyhole on the instructions would have worked amazingly! You would have slipped the trash bag through a cut exiting the handle. Boom, simple.
However, they decided to change the keyhole (as pictured) and its a total nightmare.
You can’t get the bag through the hole and pull up, the square behind the hole is about 1/2” and it’s physically impossible to get your fingers back there to pull up. If you do manage to get some trash bag into that tiny hole (say with the end of a pencil) you still can’t get your fingers in there to pull up. So when you go to put the trash bag around the other side of the trash can (just to put on like normal) it just slips right out of the hole.
So basically you have to buy an extra large trash bag to pull into the hole and pull it down only wedging that one corner into the trash can.
Not as advertised. I definitely do not recommend if you are only buying this trash can because it “holds trash bags into place”.

The main features are fine, but when I received this product, the slits for the "bag cinch" are cut completely wrong! They don't match the zoomed-in picture and don't make sense! I can't figure out how to use it as a cinch with it cut this way. I don't really want to start cutting into it, myself, but I might have to.
