About This Product
The Universal Hardware Heavy-Duty Passage Lever is designed for doors that do not require locking such as connecting doors within office buildings, hallway doors or closets. The latch bolt is operated by the lever from either side of the door at all times. Equipped with tubular chassis for easier installation, the passage lever will fit wood or metal doors 1-3/8 in. to 2 in. thick. The Heavy-Duty Passage Lever features 4-1/2 in. solid zinc diecast levers, an ANSI Grade 2 rating that's tested to exceed 500,000 cycles, a 3-hours fire rating (UL Listed) and is ADA compliant for commercial or residential use. A T-strike, full lip strike, mounting hardware and installation instructions are included.

Would this work well for the primary entry door to a small restaurant?
Thank you for your interest in our Heavy Duty Commercial Passage Lever. Passage Lever latch bolt is operated by the lever from either side of the door at all times. There is no lock.
Will this lever work with a keyed entry door knob already in place? The knob is on the exterior of door and the lever would replace the interior knob. This is for a school and we don't want to rekey the locks.
