Is it possible to get 150-200ft lifeline with a lanyard? I am going to be climbing a house that is 3 stories high (historic house). There is nothing to tie off up on the roof. So I will be tying off on a tree trunk andor my class 3 hitch on the back of my truck. The rope will have to go up and over the roof for tie off.

I am looking to cut down some very large trees. I will be climbing to the top and working my way down. Therefore, I need fall protection with lots of room to move and preferably a long lanyard like this. My plan would be to attach the rope around a large branch toward the top of the tree. Then move around the tree as necessary to cut the branches off. Would this product work as I have described?

With my paticular situation the ridge of the roof is to far away and the pitch is very steep, really no safe way to get there.

Is there a product or a way to mount an anchor point above my work area? This would be mounted in brick.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One of TWO parts Spent time trying to find a safety harness; and clerk pointed me to the rope/lanyard. I didn't realize it was separate bundle from the safety harness...so wound up with two trips --- but it did the trick as I am still alive to write this review. A little expensive (both pieces together end up about $150); but far cheaper than 8 months of traction!
