Hello ic2bro, You could use E6000 adhesive to attach a small piano hinge to each piece of wood. It would hold very well and work perfectly.
You can if you use properly rated mirror mastic.
You can if you place a wallpaper primer first over it.
This product can be used as a door skin for a hollow core door.
It should work fine. I actually used it to replace the weathered exterior layer of a shed door and it worked for that. When you say 'hollow core', be aware that it may need a cross piece to be added about midway up, inside the door, if the existing door does not have one.
