VELUX solar powered blinds enhance your decor, improve energy efficiency and provide light control with the touch of a button. Room darkening blinds utilize a double-pleated honeycomb structure with an interior aluminum coating to block even the brightest sunlight. Adjust the blind to the desired position to reduce incoming light or block it, making it ideal for bedrooms or TV or entertainment rooms. Many VELUX skylights have built-in Pick and Click. brackets for blind installation, so adding blinds to existing skylights is easy.

  • FSCC 2246 blinds are designed specifically to fit VELUX 2246 models

Q:If purchased together, can the blind and rails come in the same package as the curb mounted skylight? I am having a roof and new go solar skylights installed but I do not see any extra boxes for kits?

A:  When you order your VELUX skylight with "factory installed" shades, those items will be in one box. Your flashing kit (which is a separate purchase) will be in another box.

    A:  You can order solar-powered shades to fit fixed or venting VELUX skylights. Shades will include a remote control and are eligible for a 26% Federal Tax Credit too! Here is a link to that program: http://www.veluxusa.com/help/tax-credit

      A:  This particular shade is not compatible with the FS M06 model skylight as they are size and model specific. The correct part number needed is FSCD M06 1045S and it can be ordered through your local Home Depot store or through VELUX @ 1-800-888-3589.
