Does the spout have a built-in aerator and does it unscrew?

AnswerThank you for your inquiry. The faucet does have an aerator at the end of the spout that can be unscrewed. There is a rectangular shaped grove in the middle of the aerator. You can insert a coin into the grove, then unscrew the aerator from the faucet.
Do you have a matching deck plate? I have a 3 hole sink that I want to convert to a single hole.

AnswerWe do offer a deck plate for this bathroom faucet. The model number is VG17000MB, The deck plate is 5 1/2" wide and will easily convert your 3 hole installation to a single hole.

We have recently remodeled our bathroom. In order to make our bathroom sink setup work we had to place the faucet off to the side of the sink. Unfortunately that meant we needed a faucet with a much longer spout. We installed an expensive Hansgrohe faucet. The spout wasn’t quite long enough but it’s the only long spout faucet we could find at the time. I finally found this less expensive VIGO faucet with an even longer spout but didn’t expect much. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. It works great. Check the picture so you know what I’m talking about.

I had a hard time finding a single handle faucet that was short enough to fit under my swinging medicine cabinet door. After repeated measurings and holding my breath while this was installed, the door clears by less then 1/2 inch! It is beautiful! The finish has a little bit of a gold tone in it so it is not as grey as my other brushed nickel pieces but its works perfectly in my bathroom. It does need to have spots wiped off after using if it gets splashed. The movement is smooth and you can feel the quality in it.

It would be great if a plate would be included for three hole vanities, considering it is a one hole unit.

Looks great and install was simple. The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is the large nut holding the faucet in place is tough to reach on a small sink. I have seen some other designs where there are two screws over a plate that make it simpler. This is always tricky because you don’t want to over-tighten and crack the sink.

We just remodeled our master bath and chose this for several reasons: #1 Functionality - we needed a lower spout so that water didn't splash up for our more shallow style sink. We had tried a high spout, and water splashed out of the sink. #2 Style - we wanted something matte black that looked very minimalist and modern. We got both these things in the Vigo Davidson model and are very pleased with our purchase!
