Varathane 1 lb. Paste Finishing Wax gives a hand-rubbed wax appearance without hours of labor. Protects interior wood surfaces and adds a rich, soft satin luster. Apply to previously stained or bare wood surfaces including cabinets, paneling, trim and furniture.

        Q:I painted a bookshelf with Behr Dynasty - it's supposed to be a 1 coat paint, but I applied 3 coats to the top. Will this work as a protective finish on this paint? Also will it protect a white, porous stone-like coffee table (terrazzo-like)?

                  Seems to Work Alright!
                  This gave the wood a very nice finish, although I don't get to see it - the piece was wrapped in canvas and used as a wedging board for clay. However, I mainly bought it to see if it could resist water somewhat and keep the piece from warping, and it seems to be helping, so I'll give it that!
