Good Exterior Urethane
I really wanted a Urethane that was for out door use so it would be Weather and UV resistant so I choose this product.
I realize it is winter in California and I applied this in 50 degree weather, but so far after a week and three coats of Urethane, the urethane has NOT really hardened completely, so it has been marred in a few places. Hopefully, it hardens soon and lasts. It is still about shiny for what I wanted.
I still think it is a great product. I used half a gallon for my project.

I used the Spar Urethane on an outdoor bar top and several outdoor side tables. The product applies easily, coats evenly and provides a duravle qater proof finish. I had never undertaken a projet like this before but found it very straightforward.

Turned my sons project yellow
My son was building a cornhole set and was told by homedepot employee to use this product. After applying it the paint had a strong yellow tint. After Another employee said that happens with Oil based.

That is not what we like to hear, Phil! Oil-based spar urethane and polyurethane does have a natural amber hue, which can cause a yellow appearance if applied over a white or light color painted surface. Longevity
Used oil based sealer on exterior post.
It looks great but did not last very long.
After 1 year the coating was peeling and cracking.
Looks like i will need to sand and recoat every year.

I was lookin for a good exterior sealer finish for a 'mini library' I built for a friend's neighborhood that would be exposed to the elements. The finish was applied over Douglas fir T&G siding and on the cedar shingle roofing. The product applied easily and dried evenly. Two coats gave me the look I was after, and I am confident it will stand up to the elements.

This urethane works great. Used it on a raised herb...
This urethane works great. Used it on a raised herb garden and it's holding up great. The wood hasn't weathered and looks as good as the day it was built. Urethane dried quickly and was easy to add multiple coats.
