Small size, big heat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater stands ten inches tall and six and a half inches square, so it should fit anywhere you need some extra warmth. Don't let it's small size fool you, it puts out some serious heat. Only the front grill gets hot, the sides and rear remain cool to touch. I really like to options to control oscillation and heat level. The thermostat is also a plus!

Perfect for bathroom

It's the perfect size to set on the counter. It's heavy duty made really well. Was super easy to use. OK, does not work on carpet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater is tiny and lightweight but efficient at heating up a small space. It heated up quickly, is relatively quiet, and did not emit any smells leftover from manufacturing. There are two knob controls on the top. In case anyone is initially confused by the knobs, the one on the left allows you to control the mode, going from low, high, low with oscillation, and high with oscillation. The right knob allows you to control the temperature. While there are different heat and power settings, I could not distinguish a difference in feeling between high/low power or the various temperature ranges. I feel like it could have just had a knob for power off - on - on with oscillation and it would have performed just the same. Another thing I experienced is that the heater will not work on my carpet. My carpet flooring is just an average carpet, fairly firm, but it triggers the tip-over safety switch. I am only able to use this heater on hard floors. Overall, this is an okay heater for someone looking for a simple machine to warm up a small space on hard flooring. It would be nice to keep under a desk for warmth as you work.

Compact warmth

You can set to oscillate or not with high and low heat out puts.
We have a motor home where it works well avoiding use of our on board furnace.
We also use in a good sized room at home with lots of windows in lower level.
The heater thermostat works well to keep comfortable.

Electric Heater

Immediately started blowing warm air and has setting to choose how warm of air you want. Can’t wait to continue to use.

Perfect Small Heater

Quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This HeTR by Ventamatic, Ltd is a 10" Electric Indoor Portable Oscillating Fan-Forced Ceramic Heater. It is a nice compact size that works great to heat small spaces, like a room. It has an adjustable thermostat, oscillation and overheat protection. It has 4 different setting, low heat & high heat both with and without oscillation. The adjustable thermostat is easy to set. There is a safety tip over switch on the bottom, so heater will shut off automatically if it is tilted or inverted. This heater is fairly quiet too. The heater does not work on my carpet, it must be placed on a hard surface to work. I would recommend this to my friends.

Quiet and efficient heater
Four stars instead of five --- the tip-over button switch was improperly installed causing the heater to stay off, even when on a flat and hard surface. My solution was to add three stiff felt bumpers/glides to the bottom with one of the glides over the tip-over button. This, of course, bypasses that safety switch. However, many heaters are without tip-over switches, so this should not be a problem. The controls on top are very nicely designed. With the left knob you choose OFF---LOW-no oscillation---HIGH-no oscillation---LOW with oscillation---HIGH with oscillation. LOW is 900 watts and HIGH is 1500 watts. A thermostat knob on the right lets you choose the final temperature output.

Just the ticket to warm up a area
If you need an area warmed up you will be very happy with the purchase of a Ventamatic portable oscillating ceramic heater. This heater will effectively deliver 900 or 1500 watt of heat in a controlled format. On setting is for fan speed the second is like a thermostat. It does not have temperature indicated by the dial but you don't really need them. Once the area gets to the temp you are comfortable with turn the temp dial down till the unit stops, when the temp drops below that setting it will auto restart and warm the area back up. Adjust up and down as needed, just that easy. Products a nice warm air and for heaters this size I think it is pretty quiet. Get one for your office, living room to knock off the chill or like me and one for you camper.

Works well in a small space.
I got this heater to replace an older ceramic heater that died. I use it in my master bath because there was not a heater in there besides the regular central air heat and it gets cold when taking a shower in the winter. It works very well for that space. It puts out about the same amount of heat as my older one but it is much more quiet. This one also is oscillating where by older did not. I have also used it by my chair in our living room because I sit by a couple of windows and I get cold. There are several settings to choose the level of the fan and the temperature. You don't have to use the oscillating feature if you want the heater to just blow in one direction. The metal parts do get hot so you need to be aware of that. The heater will automatically turn off if it is tipped over.
