Brazilian walnut color looks nice on web site however it is difficult to evaluate this color on the screen. how can I get an in person view of the color?

Like almost all images on the computer, or in print, the colors are never exactly what the actual product is, and the color in person is influenced by the color (measured in Kelvin) of the light used to light the product. In this case, I would describe the lattice as "almost black". If the actual color is really important to you, and you cannot find an example in the store, I would suggest buying one and seeing what it looks like in the location, and lighting color, where you plan on using it.

No pre-drilled holes, but easy enough to hang without pre-drilling. I'm 72 yo female and only needed someone to help hold it in place.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I believe this product would work well if you were able to keep protected from any wind and large... I believe this product would work well if you were able to keep protected from any wind and large changes in temperatures. Also you would not want to put any vines on it. So I wouldn't say it's a terrible product. It did not work for me in what I was hoping to accomplish. We had a retaining wall in which I wanted something in front to hide it. But due to winds and temperature changes the vinyl became brittle and broke. I tried using JB Weld to fix it but that didn't work either.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sun will cause it to crack Put this around a carport to add some privacy. The side that doesn't get any sun is fine, the side that gets the sun has become brittle and cracked. The end pieces used to hold the lattice in place have even broken into segments so I have taken it down. The cold winter causes it to shrink and fall out of the surround holding it in place. The sun causes it to expand and sag. Now the six panels I originally put up are down to 3 and hoping they will stay up until the end of summer or until I find another solution. Took off the end pieces and just screwed the lattice directly to the carport to try and save what I can. The side that doesn't get any direct sun has been just fine, seems to be less shrinkage and sagging, may be because I cut those pieces shorter to walk down a brick border next to the carport.

I gave this lattice four stars rather than five as "privacy lattice" is mentioned in the description, and I expected to receive the tighter-weave lattice that is hard to see through. Otherwise, the color is very nice, it is a very close match to the paint on my covered patio. I bought two pieces of wood lattice strip and bolted them to each side at the edge to make it look more "finished". The vinyl lattice is very easy to drill through or put a screw into, and it doesn't tend to split like the wood lattice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expands and contracts way too much, and tears apart. Installed two 4x8 panels (horizontally) attached to existing wooden posts to give some patio privacy. Used 48 feet of the edging around whole lot, and wood screws to attach, holes for screws bigger than screws. Project done in Spring, temperature around 70. Later, when summer sun hit them, they warped and bowed - temperature around 100. Then winter comes, and temperatures down to zero, the contraction just pulled them away from the screws, and 'they all fall down'. Worthless product unless used in moderate climate with no temperature differentials (where in the USA does that occur?). Probably work fine on a Caribbean island. Needless to say receipt was not kept, so cannot tak advantage of what may also be worthless - a "limited lifetime warranty", since they died and so are beyond their lifetime!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These lattices are quite sturdy and generally look nice, although I don't understand why the ceda... These lattices are quite sturdy and generally look nice, although I don't understand why the cedar tone ones are more expensive than the white. I do not use the connecting bars that are sold along side them. Instead, I install them so the lattices line up and then I take thin lock ties and bind them together. This holds up for years -- in fact Ive never had one break. If done carefully, it looks like you have one big lattice rather than having unsightly solid material in between sheets. For example if you are filling in underneath a deck. If you have something grow over the lattice, like a flower vine of some kind, you wont see the lock ties at all. For installing these, I once tried putting a screw through solid areas at the top to hold them against the underside of the deck. But that split a few of the solid areas. (Although the sheet as a whole is still attached, almost 10 years later.) The most recent way I attached them was to line them up and get a helper to hold them level, in place. Then I marked the vertex of the "V" shapes under the uppermost row of the lattice. Then I put a washer on a screw into each mark on 2 of them and **hung** the lattice from the two screws. I tightened the screw so that the washer pressed against the lattice to hold it in place. Once it was hanging from 2 screws, I put in a screw with washer on the other marks to hold the lattice up securely in case it fell off any of them. Once I lock tied the adjacent sections together, this was a solid lattice wall.

We purchased 2 of these to replace lattice that was previously up for the last 10 years in our yard. Within a week, the new one already began to crack! Both the old one and the new one we purchased seemed to be the same material. Very flimsy and cheaply made, despite how nice this product looks on the exterior. If you want something to last, don't purchase this lattice!

She is so small she could fall through the deck railings. We chose the redwood ones and they match our railing & cut easily to size with a table saw. We added a few plants on the deck and now we have a garden oasis and a safe place for puppy to play outside. We're very pleased with these.

This vinyl lattice was very easy to work with, easy to cut and nail or screw on. It looks good, doesn't need painting and should last a long time. Only disappointment was that I couldn't get a military discount for this product - would have bought it at Lowes If I had known - Lowes would have given me the discount.
