can you install vinyl post over wood 4x4 post
Yes, this model does come with a bottom insert.
NO, they are not offered in that size. This product can be cut down.
The thickness of the material for the post is 1/8th of an inch.
Yes you are able to cut pickets to accommodate any height you wish. Be sure to use the lateral metal support inserts for the top and bottom rails to avoid sagging. CBC
Unfortunately, they do not... I contacted the manufacturer with the same question and they recommend using a post to couple the sections and make them longer.
About the only thing you need to out this fence together are the fence posts to hold it together. The fence vertical slats slide into cutouts into the bottom and top rails; no screws or bolts needed. The bottom and top rails slip into holes in the fence posts. Again, no need for screws or bolts. We found the hardest part to assembling his product was getting he upper and lower rails in tje fence posts. I would recommend having a couple of 15-foot pieces of rope or twine to wrap around the upper and lower rails to prevent the fence slats from accidently falling out while you're playing the fence in the posts. It's a pretty easy fence to install.
I am running into this as well. Pool codes in CT show less than 4" between the vertical members as long as the horizontal members are 45" or more apart. it becomes the 1.75" when the horizontal members are closer than 45"
Yes.
