Although they are not store stock, I find these make installing the fence panels easier. I believe the style that is stocked in the store must be attached to the posts before the fence panel can be attached. These allow you to attach them to the fence panel before attaching them to the post thus allowing you to make any adjustments.
The pros of these are they allow adjustment before permanently attaching to the post and cost less than the ones in stock.
The cons of these are they have to be ordered and possibly for some people, having the screws visible.
The pros of the style stocked in the store are, they are in stock and the screws are not visible (if that is important to you).
The cons of the style stocked in the store are, they cost more and there is no access to the screws once the fence panel is attached.

Good Fit for the Fence
The brackets make it easy to attach the fence to the posts. The vinyl fence is hollow. I cut a piece of wood to fit inside the horizontal piece to give the screws something to bite into.
