I am an old contractor, now long retired. I ordered this for my front porch area, made entirely of concrete. I ordered all accessories from Home Depot, sight unseen, and put it together in about 4 hours, total time. Folk this is as easy as any work I have ever done. Instructions are outstanding. I recommend it highly!

I just completed the installation of the Williamsburg White Star rail kit. It really sets off the front of our house and has increased the safety of the steps. I only ha e a few steps and was able to cut a 6' section in half to place rail on each side. The optional solar powered lights on the top of the bottom post readily define the steps location at night.

Porch Update
The railings are just what we needed to complete the front porch revamp. We had installed the main porch support posts earlier.
The overall effect once the railings are installed speaks for itself, we are very pleased with the (almost) finished project. The stair rail still needs to be installed to complete the job. The concrete path needs drilling, so I have to wait until I have a hammer drill.
Despite original "fears" that vinyl would not be strong enough for the job, the components are extremely sturdy and, at the same time, very easy to cut to size and very lightweight. There are fixings a-plenty and the installation does not require any "expert" skills, just a saw, a drill and a screwdriver and a spirit level. You don't even need a 2nd set of hands.
Don't forget to buy the post supports and all the "finishing off" knick knacks like base trim and top caps.

Unusual srews
I like the product, good value. The only complain I have is about the unusual screws. They have a square head! It requires a special screwdriver, which is not supplied. I had to replace all screws.
