Customer Reviews

1/4 in. x 4 in. Carbide-Tipped Spiral Double-Flute Masonry Drill Bits for Brick, Cinder Block, and Tile (5-Pack) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from THESE WORK WELL These cut thru hard concrete like a knife thru butter. They work great in a regular cordless drill. You do not need to use a hammer drill with these bits. Well worth the cost. Many other brand mason bits require you to use a hammer drill. Fine if you own one. I don't. So I had to use my 18 volt Bosch cordless regular type drill. It worked great ! lots & lots of holes with no problems .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bargain and functionality and they work I was really happy with the drills capability to go through some man I live in a block wall house which has a cement headers for all the windows and the drillbits pass right through with no problem so installation of windows and security bars where is relatively simple . Most people complain their drillbits don't work; but the problem is they're not using a drill motor that is made for the job. You really have to use a hammer drill to install things into cement or masonry. The reason is it's faster, the bits work better and you get results without excessive pressure. It all boils down to the right tool for the job these get it done!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked good. I used this for drilling thru brick & mortar with a regular drill for dryer vent installation. Used holes as base for knocking brick out with cold chisels. Drilling into the brick was slow and quickly heated up drill bit but dipping it in water helped.
