Q:My tower is growing mold! I used it have it inside, but it started to smell like a fish tank so I had to move it outside on the patio. I use only purified filtered water and don't know what I am doing wrong or how to treat it.

Answer This Question

A:  Your PH is to low. Change out the water and add white vinegar to it to lower the PH. You want it to test between 5-6 ph strips are included in the kit.

        Clean Gardening Fun!
        This tower is easy to assemble, easy to maintain, easy to clean, good value, can be used indoors or out. I have mine set up outside in Florida all year long. Grow inside all year long, anywhere with good light source or grow lights (not included, available). The tower shown has okra, tomatoes, spinach, and dill. I've also grown flowers such as marigolds and edibles flowers. Decorate it for the holidays. Soothing sound of water flowing. Fun to experiment with plants typically grown in dirt. Good value.

              Not worth it
              way smaller then it looks, the pump would not really keep a steady flow, the seed pods were to small for the pods

              Fun and healthy
              I did not know that Home Depot Carrie’s these wonderful towers. Just started growing my own salad. Got two meals so far and love the convenience. I will come to Home Depot from now on. YouTube has awesome videos on the system.
